What is Organisational Culture?

Organisational culture is invaluable with regards to leadership and management. This course will discuss corporate governance and its ethical impacts and implications on society and team dynamics. It will also discuss the variety of organisational cultures you will see exhibited across businesses around the globe, and how these organisational cultures affect teams, individuals, leadership systems and how they handle change.

Numerous management thinkers have studied organisational culture and attempted to classify different types of culture. The following approaches may help assess and understand the culture of an organisation but also illustrate its inherent complexity.

Observers should recognise that an organisation’s culture can be viewed from multiple angles and that its characteristics can be reflected in several overlapping dimensions.
