Who we are
BusinessBalls.com is a free ethical learning and development resource. We provide accessible resources – articles, templates, tools, and more – for both individuals and organisations.
Founded in 1999 by Alan Chapman, for 25 years, BusinessBalls has been one of the internet’s leading hubs for personal and professional development. We have provided free education to over 130 million people from all across the world and every walk of life.
We endeavour to continue this mission as long as we can. We remain an ethical, practical, innovative, and compassionate resource.
Partnership with Accipio
After nearly 20 years of being run solely by Alan Chapman, in 2017, BB partnered with leadership and digital learning specialists Accipio to ensure we could continue to support our loyal community. Ever since, BB and Accipio have worked hand-in-hand to improve user experience, expand our reach, and further extend our catalogue of free resources.
The Accipio C30 underpins the BB leadership content: the 30 capabilities all versatile leaders and managers need. The C30 is supported by content, webinars, resources, qualifications, and more.
Keeping up our mission
Our entire 25-year worth of content, resources, templates, etc. is and will remain free and open to all trying to learn and teach. On top of that, we continue to add further materials and opportunities for people to improve themselves.
Alongside this, we have expanded our offering to create interactive and in-depth learning materials, supported by eLearning, webinars, diagnostic tools, and more. As you will understand, this is highly cost-intensive and we have done it for the benefit of our users. These materials are separate from our free, open-access resources, and can be purchased via small annual or monthly subscriptions. These funds help us to continue to operate and offer additional free resources for you.
